Canadian pianist, Michael Shannon, is quickly earning a reputation as one of the most sought-after vocal coaches, répétiteurs, and recital partners in a new generation of Canadian opera professionals. A member of the Canadian Opera Company’s music staff and graduate of the COC Ensemble Studio, he has served as répétiteur/continuo player and vocal coach for over 15 COC productions. Michael Shannon will perform with Lamp Vocal Residents in this afternoon’s recital.
