A Lamp favorite and one of Canada’s most distinguished artists, pianist Jane Coop has played in eminent halls and collaborated with artists all over the world. Dedicated to teaching, Jane held a long-time position as senior professor/Head of Piano Division at the University of British Columbia's School of Music and is currently a cherished faculty artist at the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival, where she coaches brilliant young musicians. In 2012, Jane Coop was appointed to the Order of Canada and in 2019 she was appointed to the Order of British Columbia.
