Several Events Each Year
Several times each year we host different fundraising events - from Gala Fundraiser Concerts with superstar performers like Barbara Hannigan or Steven Isserlis, to our semi-regular summertime event of a lobster dinner with live music, to raffles, auctions and our annual Gifted Young Artist Bursary Fund appeal. Each event uses the raised in different ways, and this is the perfect option if you are a person who wants your funds to go where they will have the biggest impact; where they are most needed.
In the Spring of 2024 LAMP will host three gala fundraiser performances. Tickets are $50 each.

Each year we run a campaign to raise funds for our Gifted Young Artist Bursary fund. The funds raised in this campaign are used to fund bursaries for exceptionally talented young and emerging wishing to come to Lamp to work and perform with some of the greatest performing artists of our time.
Young artists in the early stages of launching their careers are very often often unable to afford the cost of tuition and travel in addition to the regular cost of living such as rent, food, electricity and paying off exorbitant student loans. Bursaries enable them to come to Lunenburg to perfect their performance technique under the guidance of internationally renowned performers who want to share their experience and expertise with the next generation of performing artists.
While the campaign runs each December, we are always in search of donations for this fund, as there are always more artists needing bursaries than there are available bursaries. If you would like to make a donation to the Gifted Young Artist Bursary Fund, please contact Trudi.
