LAMP's mandate includes sharing the amazing talents of our faculty and students, and the works of composers old and new, with the community at large. Our students - all emerging artists in their own right - go through a rigorous audition process to be selected for our programs and they travel here from all over the globe. Ten countries on four continents so far! Meanwhile, the artists who serve as our faculty have performed at many of the world's most prestigious concert halls. And you can have them in your music room or auditorium for free!
Each LAMP faculty member and student is expected to offer a minimum of two hours of every week they are with us to community engagement events, like our school programs (preschool to Grade 12). Some offerings are suitable for a school-wide assembly, while others are best delivered in single class-sized groups, or as part of afterschool programs. We can even provide a 'master class' for small groups of students with special interest in a particular instrument or composer.
All sessions are 45 - 50 minutes. See what we have to offer this season.
